Working with Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust
As we are based in Worcester, we have seen the fantastic work that the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer trust (GKCCT) has been doing locally. None more so than in the huge amount of money raised, and publicity generated, in aid of 6-year old, Oscar Saxelby-Lee. Some of our own staff, along with their family members, were active in fundraising for Oscar- including setting up a lemonade stand, with the proceeds going to the GKCCT appeal.
As a local IT business, we wanted to see what we could do in order to help the trust. When we learnt that they were about to move into new premises, we contacted them to find out where we could lend a hand. Integratech Account Managers, Adam Marlow-Jones and Amber Morris, spoke to Jen Kelly from the trust, to see what we could do.
It transpired that they had recently acquired some laptops, which needed setting-up. Previously, they were using Google Docs and Google Mail; we advised that Microsoft’s Office 365 would be far better suited to their needs. Especially as Office 365 offers heavily discounted licences to not-for profit organisations. This meant that they could have one of the most secure packages available, at a nominal monthly cost.
We migrated all of their current emails and documents, from Google to Microsoft. Additionally, we created a SharePoint site for them to use. This now means they can access and collaborate on their documents, securely, no matter where they are located when they are working.
We are proud to be supporting Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust with their ongoing IT needs & support. We are inspired by the incredible work that the charity is doing and to give up our time for them, is the least we can do. As we specialise in helping growing organisations, we look forward to helping them as much as we can going forward.
