New options and more time

New options are now available to help you upgrade and to adopt inovative technologies that can carry your organisation into the future. However, if you are not quite ready to make the transition, and are looking for more time, you can buy up to three years of Extended Security Updates to keep your workloads protected beyond the deadline.

On-premise or Cloud?

Do you intend to stick with an onsite server or migrate to the cloud? We have options for both:

On-premise – upgrade and stay protected

Upgrade your onsite server to Windows Server 2016 for greater innovation, built-in security and container support. Alternatively, for continued protection beyond the 14/01/20 deadline, buy up to three years of Extended Security Updates – cover only the servers you need while you upgrade.

Cloud – migrate to Azure with free security updates

Rehost Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 workloads to Azure. Get three years of Extended Security Updates at no additional charge, and upgrade to a current version when ready. Use existing licences and save up to 80% on Azure Virtual Machines with Azure Hybrid Benefit and Reserved Instances.
