2nd Line Internal Support Engineer

Job Title: 2nd Line Internal Support Engineer
Location: Midlands, based in Worcester
Salary: £18,000 – £25,000 per annum (negotiable) + benefits (based on ability and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full time

About the Role:

This is an important role within our organisation that will suit a technology driven individual with a desire to succeed in all areas.

In this role you will be primarily office based, though where necessary travel maybe required mainly around the Midlands and surrounding areas, but it can also include any part of England and Wales (A full, preferably clean driving license is required).

Experience:

  • The candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (2008/2008R2/SBS/2012 Server/2016 server/Vista/7/8/10)
  • Core Microsoft Infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, SharePoint, RDS, DFS)
  • Systems virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Citrix Systems / RDS
  • Backup technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec, System Recovery, Endpoint Protection, LTO)
  • Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Hardware firewalls and router configuration (Fortinet – UTM, NAS, ISCSI, SAN, Fibre Chanel)
  • Switching (HP, Cisco)
  • System and network monitoring

Qualifications (Desirable):

  • Relevant Microsoft Qualifications
  • MCSA-Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/Office365

3rd Line Senior Engineer

Job Title: 3rd Line Senior Engineer
Location: Midlands, based in Worcester
Salary: £28,500 – £38,000 per annum (negotiable) + vehicle + benefits (based on ability and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full time

About the Role:

This is a fundamental role within our organisation that will suit a technology driven expert with a desire to succeed in all areas.

As a 3rd Line Senior Engineer your main task will be to deliver solutions of varying complexity. This senior technical position will take the lead at investigating new technologies and mentoring others within the team.

In this role you will be both office and field-based. As part of this you will therefore be required to travel to clients and these are not only in the Midlands but also over the whole of England and Wales (A full, preferably clean driving licence is required).

Essential Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role

    Technical Manager

    Job Title: Technical Manager
    Location: Midlands, based in Worcester
    Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (negotiable) + benefits (based on ability and experience)
    Contract Type: Permanent / Full time

    About the Role:

    This is a fundamental role within our organisation that will suit a technology driven expert with a desire to succeed in all areas.

    As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for all areas within the Technical team. As an overview this includes being involved in Pre-sales, advice to the sales team, working within the project management team, controlling installations, managing the external engineer team, working with the helpdesk manager, agreeing and signing off completed project related jobs, being involved in any issues and reporting all areas to the Directors.

    In the role you will be mainly office based, however at times you will be required to travel both around the Midlands and surrounding areas, and also any part of England and Wales. (A full, preferably clean driving licence is required).

      Sales Executive

      Job Title: Sales Executive – IT Solutions and ERP Software

      The successful applicant will have highly relevant experience and be expected to rapidly develop a quality prospect pipeline. Leads from various sources will be provided however the ability to create and close self-generated leads is key.

      To do this they will be based at the Company’s business office in Worcester and work with the sales and marketing team to execute our strategy and therefore grow and develop our customer base.

      This position comes with a competitive basic salary and a fantastic ‘open ended’ commission structure with Salary £30,000 + Commission – OTE for first year £50,000. A fully funded company car or expenses will be provided.

       
      Role requirements:

      • A confident and strategic approach, involving pro-active selling to new and existing contacts to managing accounts
      • Prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle to a close and hand over to service delivery
      • Proposing, presenting, discussing ad fully explaining proposed solutions with relevant decision-makers
      • A good knowledge of business processes, as well as an understanding of customers’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
      • Working with marketing to identify opportunities and to help develop your pipeline
      • Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business
      • Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, presentations and reports
      • Keeping abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems
      • Assisting customers to maximise their use of the hardware/software solutions in order to support the success of their business

       
      The ideal Sales Executive must have:

      • 2 years experience of selling IT Solutions
      • Sales experience of selling ERP Software solutions. (SAP Business One would be a distinct advantage.)
      • Knowledge of business processes such as accounting practices, as well as knowledge of manufacturers, stockists and distributors
      • Demonstrable experience of discussing, presenting and selling solutions at senior decision maker level
      • Strong negotiation skills
      • Target driven/self-motivated with the passion to put in the time required to succeed
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Ability to multi task/work under pressure
      • Able to work under own initiative as well as in a team
      • Very Good IT skills
      • Must be willing to travel
      • A full, preferably clean, driving licence
